Hollywood Smollywood. Events are all around SoCal during big events such as the 80th Golden Globes pre-party and the 65th Grammy’s celebration for people the weekend or night before the awards take place and this year, Anthony “Rory” Tran, also known as ART A Reasonable Truth, got some invites through networks in the industry where red (and gold) carpets, Step and Repeat photo shoots, and VIP celebrations are at the forefront.
Tran’s Grammy’s fit 2023.
While still very much an independent artist, the legend himself is building through new connections now that the pandemic is easing up on the world. Trippy Tran celebrates his birthday later this week and is going to be performing a small set at the 2HotRadio Super Bowl party in Arizona next Sunday on February 12th as he prepares his sophomore album release. There’s so much more in store and we will be releasing the behind the scenes segment known as Music Beyond of the “Ghost” single including footage of ART in the studio, shooting the music video, interviews and more.

This past Friday on 2/3/23, ART A Reasonable Truth premiered the music video to the new song “Ghost” showcasing an eerie cinematic performance piece that borderlines a phantom/Joker, wistfulness, ghosting (or being ghosted) and cold feelings in the world. The crazy thing is he even got ghosted on receiving photos from the original shoot and was put in the position to edit the video himself since the team he won the contest for lacked communication and gave the run around on its initial release that was slated for Halloween – on which the song did come out on.
“Ghost” music video promo still by ART A Reasonable Truth.
The climate of the world proves that people can still be very much a representation of Truth’s lyrics as people on social media still play the “follow me and I’ll unfollow you back” mentality in the Hollywood environment. That may prove beyond just a city as humanity feeds itself the social media game. Nonetheless, as Sasha Colby and Luxx Noir London (RuPaul’s Drag Race season 15 stars) told him the other night at the Meet and Greet in WeHo, remember why your doing what you’re doing and don’t let anyone’s opinions try and define you.

At the beginning of 2022, Tran continued doing Office PA work and ended up help prep and wrap the Squarespace Super Bowl commercial starring Zendaya (HBO’s “Euphoria) and André 3000 from Outkast, directed by Edgar Wright (Baby Driver, Scott Pilgrim vs. The World). Funny enough, the teams who went to Super Bowl LVI (56) were the Cincinnati Bengals and the Los Angeles Rams – so his hometown (Cincy) battled it out with where he’s resided for the last 8 1/2 years (L.A.)
At 21 million views, one of Tran’s biggest accomplishments so far.
Since handing Edgar Wright his storyboards and coffee that day, he had been non-stop working in the commercial world up until his trip back to Ohio where the teams he worked for were working more remote, though, once you’re working commercials, it’s hard to get to the film and TV side.
Just recently, ATran has been working as a PA on a TV show for EarthxTV that resumes filming mid-November, though all these jobs haven’t stopped him from creating. In sound design is the much-anticipated full-length Trippy Tran Films movie Obliquity: Imagery of the Unknown and is looking to hopefully enter film festivals fall 2023. ART A Reasonable Truth’s sophomore album is being worked on and the first single just released yesterday on Halloween in time for spooky season called “Ghost” with a music video to arrive sometime this month.
New single “Ghost” with visualizer.
You can download “Ghost” at http://areasonabletruth.bandcamp.com which includes also the instrumental and a capella as it gets ready to hit all major streaming platforms sometime this week.
Some reviews from listeners of “Ghost”.
The IDGA$ Talk Show, sketch comedies, final episode of Choices: An Interactive Story “Twisted Fates” are all still looking to also come out early 2023. There’s also plans for our 10th short film, a slasher along the lines of Scream but with an original spin, the InPersonNation sequel, and new music videos are in pre-production.
Shout out to Zackary Arthur who stars in Chucky alongside Devon Sawa. Anthony Rory Tran was a camera operator and worked with Zackary Arthur on “PALS” in 2016.
The Tran Man is also on a new podcast The Business Revolution to come out soon and is working to expand Trippy Tran Films, LLC so in 5 years or less, the goal is for him to be directing big budget Hollywood movies also.
Our services include weddings, commercials, photography and film making, recording sessions, voice over work, video editing and in partner with Lexico Fashion, wardrobe.

The hip-hop contemporary rap jam #notawrapper was created in 2020 before the global pandemic and has been called Trippy T aka ART A Reasonable Truth’s best song yet as it includes heavy bass, a catchy chorus and a play on words with lyrics about being both a rapper and a wrapper.
The music video just dropped today, which features over 60 people showing some of their own talents from breakdancing, stripping, spinning fire, plus a lot more fun surprises. Just make sure to blast the bass while listening.
The music video, takes it to a whole new level, featuring talents from Los Angeles to Cincinnati, OH and beyond and it actually features some talented rappers like Kevy G, Adam Glevicky and Anthony Catanzarite who show their support for Anthony “Rory” Tran’s latest single. A sexy maid, a dojo stick spinner, poi spinning, goths, grandma, a gift for yo mama and more are all included in this colorful compilation as Truth’s style is shown with a hot red Honda R-Type car.

Some stills from the (W)Rapper music video by ART A Reasonable Truth
Anthony T. Tran has been working in Hollywood a lot more this year which included projects to help with Willow, Dua Lipa, Christopher Mintz-Plasse from Superbad, and many more talents and commercial work.
With the surge of Covid-19 and the new Delta Variant virus, it has been hard to want to update or showcase all the hard work that’s been happening behind the scenes. Trippy Tran Films has a lot more projects coming up and hope that we will be able to share them sooner than later. Keep it locked in with all of our projects at the links below.
(2021) A Trippy Tran Films Production ART A Reasonable Truth — “(W)Rapper” (Official Music Video)
Happy Birthday Anthony ‘Rory’ Tran aka ART A Reasonable Truth who just released his new music video, second single to Centerpiece called “The Recipe ft. Ayem”. Although the subject matter doesn’t really have to do with food per se, the video itself showcases lyrical undertones of one being such a “recipe”, one of the more parallel coorelations to the concept album as it showcases a look at our world with catatonic behavior. Featuring Ayem with a sick verse, we also celebrate Black History Month with our team.
In the video, ART states that a lot of medical issues happened to him while on this journey to the point of a sleep study. Scientists are shown taking samples of him and building “versions” of him to control as their own “recipes” and brainwashing them to adhere to technology.
The idea has similar relation to Anthony Tran’s latest short film QK-Hilltop (coming very soon) that deals with real-life government experiments in the 1950’s.
What do you think of the new hip-pop video and song for 2019? Here is also a behind the scenes look at filming it via the rory-man’s snapchat story.
Support local and independent artists and be the recipe yourself! ART says he plans on starting performance runs this year. For his next music video “Get Down With It!” we are looking for extras and dancers. Email AReasonableTruth@gmail.com with picture and why and how you want to be involved.
Thursday today, if you own the Snapchat app, you can search the Discover page for “My Ex-BFF Court” and see Anthony ‘Rory’ Tran (ART A Reasonable Truth) and Dustin James (Cat Magick) as they go to “pretend” court over a matter of film making and friendship in season 1 episode 12 of the new show by Snapchat TV and Vertical Networks.
The preview:
The premise is simple. Tran began production on Trippy Tran Films’ debut feature film project Obliquity: Imagery of the Unknown in 2009, shooting 1 scene and finishing the script. It took until 2012 to complete production due to actors quitting, 3 re-writes and also to help co-produce with writer/producer Christopher Wesley on his supernatural thriller feature Devil’s Point. A lot of things happened during that process and eventually in winter of 2013, the movie premiered as a 2 1/2 hour cut in a local theater selling almost 100 tickets in 1 night.
When Tran was asked to go on a fun court show where we got to bring back a former actor and best friend who quit the project, he sent out real facebook message screen shots and more to the production co. Vertical Networks to talk about what really happened.
Watch the 12th episode of Season 1:
From side characters like Titney Spears to the character Dustin was meant to originally play: Dane Hollywood, My Ex-BFF Court will showcase the drama, the truth and the reality of what happened but also in the form of entertainment as this is technically reality television.
The reality TV truth:
What are your thoughts? Do you think the show was fair to both sides without even knowing the whole story? Who should have won the case?
Trippy Tran Films is looking for a solid feature sound designer for our 1hr45min cut of this film so we can get it out by next year. You can help donate via Paypal @trippytran or message us at TrippyTranFilms@gmail.com if you or someone you know has reasonable rates on sound design and audio mixing/mastering.
Be sure to also check out our new show | Choices | An Interactive Story – a choice-based interactive short live-action video with 4 episodes coming in beta form with episode 1 tomorrow!
It’s around the holidays nearing a close to 2018 and ART A Reasonable Truth (Anthony “Rory” Tran) is planning his new music video, second single to Centerpiece called “The Recipe ft. Ayem”. Though the subject matter doesn’t really have to do with food per se, the video itself showcases the lyrical undertones of one being such a “recipe”, one of the more parallel coorelations to the concept album.
ART A Reasonable Truth in New Music Video “The Recipe ft. Ayem”
In the video, ART states that a lot of medical issues happened to him while on this journey to the point of a sleep study. Scientists are shown taking samples of him and building “versions” of him to control as their own “recipes” and brainwashing them to adhere to technology and their “plan”.
The idea has similar relation to Anthony Tran’s latest directed short film QK-Hilltop (coming very soon) that deals with real-life government experiments in the 1950’s including MKULTRA, mind control, cloning and more.
Directed by Tyler Mason of Fallen Light Films in Ohio, the video is hoping for an end of year/early 2019 release.

It’s about that time! Summer is in the air and the ‘Centerpiece’ has released another anthem, this time, showcasing beach and west coast vibes by the ocean that will take you away on a vacation. “SoCal Waves” originally premiered in February 2016 with the My Vacation In LA season 1 finale in a demo form.
ART A Reasonable Truth produced an album with Grammy board and multi-million dollar studio-taught mix and master Wendy Levin of D.M. Gremlin Studios with an instrumental by Billy Burton; the collaboration and oceanic sounds are dreamy and chillular.
After releasing 3 singles prior including “Centerpiece”, “Get Down With It!” and “Ready”, “SoCal Waves” is planned to be the first music video of a visual album, but unlike artists like Beyoncè and Todrick Hall who release it all at once, the “Trippy Tran Man” plans to release the videos out of order and at different times before all the pieces of the ‘Centerpiece’ concept is complete. Trippy.

Be sure to check out ART A REASONABLE TRUTH with new music coming 2018.
The electro hip-pop singer, rapper, writer with inspirational and motivational lyrics artist Anthony “Rory” Tran is now going by ART which stands not only for his known-by initials, but is the acronym for “A Reasonable Truth”, which has made its debut launch on social media platforms and with the new music page on bandcamp and also @areasonabletruth on IG and @areasonabletrth on Twitter – purposely missing the “U” conveying the message that there is only a reasonable truth with YOU and it’s up to “U” to find it.

Before changing his name:
40 Days of Success – The Interview coming soon!
“Trippy T was cool and so many people still call me it, like, when we recently shot Master T.C.’s “Gotta Be Free” music video at The Ohio State Reformatory the band and the crew all referred to me as that. I debuted that name in 2011 with our contest entry for Arby’s going with our production company Trippy Tran Films. I’m Trippy Tran. I’m Trippy T. My middle initial is actually T but so many people knew me in the day as Rory that it stuck and it does showcase my personality.

Dreamers follow an unwritten journey leading them up different winding paths, opportunities and experiences as each passing day comes to light. Though, some believe everything is destined to happen, we continue to strive for collaboration, endurance, confidence and achievement to reach and make these goals. Sharing this unique experience we call life can be rewarding and even disappointing at times, but as we hold onto our inspiration and faith, we find that anything is possible.
As owner, director, producer and writer amongst many other roles (cinematographer, singer/rapper, editor, production assistant, etc.) for Trippy Tran Films and other production companies, I have been continuing the dream and doing my best to complete some of our projects in the balance. Our goal still includes releasing our feature film debut Obliquity: Imagery of the Unknownto festivals and audiences worldwide.
I’ve always been open to joining forces with other people in the entertainment industry and our love for creating and connecting will only continue to expand. (We encourage everyone to never lose sight of what they want in life!) Here are some of my own biggest feats, a new entry showcasing 40 Days of Success and determination up to this point in my life. Check back for new entries starting March 1, 2017. Believe in yourself. Believe in others.

Day 1 – New Music from Trippy T
True artists are always making music whether it’s publicly released, finalized or not. This image is taken from the photo shoot on location of my new music video TBA (shhh! – details yet to be revealed!) There are a lot of surprises with the new songs and the upcoming Centerpiece EP. Working with celebrity model photographer Chris Anthony of CXL Photography fall 2016 was refreshing. I felt as I could really be myself in this video, now having lived in Los Angeles for almost 3 years and loving the SoCal atmosphere.
Day 2 – Co-Producer and Cameo Role in Sovereign Entertainment’s Devil’s Point
Throwback to the club scene in the new movie Devil’s Point that I co-produced and made a cameo in with these lovely stars of the film (Alexander Sedlak and Kait Stay). It’s been since 2011, but great things take time. We hope you can’t wait to see this supernatural horror from Sovereign Entertainment and Trippy Tran Films!
Day 3 – Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Sports Awards Post Party Staff (2015-?)
Working Nickelodeon’s Kids’ Choice Sports Awards Post Party Event 2015 & 2016.
Growing up watching Nickelodeon myself, it brought me joy to pump up the youth for their photo op and was in overall exciting to be part of such an exclusive event for a second year in a row.
In 2016, I was teamed up with the basketball photo booth guys and helped kids and families get their star photo moment with their print used as the backboard for a mini-bball hoop and was also given my own hoop.
In 1 week, the Kids’ Choice Awards will be hosted and airing March 10, 2017 on Nickelodeon.
Day 4 – Director of Photography on Long Beach, CA web series MÆRY QUEENS
Maery Queens – Long Beach with Anthony T. Tran as director of photography.
Working with the cast of Mæry Queens as official Director of Photography on season 1 (available to watch for free) where I worked with MTV Brasil actor Anthony Moore (Malady,Into the Shadows), Kyle Mosonyi (“Gone” Music Video) and Ashley Hernandez (My Vacation In L.A. – Top 10 Countdown) and of course the rest of the stellar cast involved.
Production took place throughout the month of August 2015 and the first 4 webisodes premiered in April 2016 with a red carpet premier at one of the filming locations: The Silver Fox. I used facebook Live during the event highlighting some of the star moments, interviews with most of the cast and even spoke on stage in front of the audience.
I became so passionate about this project that I ended up writing additional segments to the show with solo confessionals with each character in between episodes that started after episode 4. It also marked my first major role debut in Long Beach and first cinematography role in Los Angeles County.
Day 5 – COEXIST wins Audience Choice award for CMF 2009 in Greater Cincinnati
Winning our first movie award in the city for our horror short COEXIST and pictured with legendary synth-funk group Midnight Star’s Bill Simmons who was also one of my instructors.
In my final project in college at Brown Mackie Cincinnati, I had already directed 3 original shorts and several other music video projects, etc. Before #ObliquityMovie was started, this was the film that encouraged me to continue following my passion as we won an Audience Choice Award for a horror film in 2009! If anyone remembers that Era, horror films were coming out left and right and it was hard to find anything original. To this day COEXIST by @trippytranfilms remains bold, thought-provoking and unique.

Day 6 – Assistant National Contest Admin for iHeartRadio contests & Clear Channel Media + Entertainment (2011-2014)
Hired at Clear Channel Media & Entertainment AKA #iHeartRadio for 3 years with 3 different job titles for radio nation.
In the birthplace of radio, Cincinnati, OH I had a good friend who saw my passion and ambition for working in entertainment. In 2011, I was hired to run national contests including giving away $1000 more than 5 times a day as well as trips to the iHeartRadio Music Festival in #LasVegas, plus, exclusively with my boss ran the private show #contest for the Justin Timberlake 20/20 Experience debut and Miami and L.A. shows and pool parties with America’s top artists.
I then was hired for commercial dubbing then music in production tech. I trained and worked with original members of Blessid Union of Souls I left the job to pursue my film endeavors in #California. Here I’m pictured with KISS 107 FM host Jare E. J and WEBN legend Shroom. Also pictured is the UK’s Morning Parade and Brian Aubert of Silversun Pickups in the Coke Lounge. Both great guys to be studio neighbors with. For fun, you can hear my radio voice in our short film #MyVacationInCincinnati
It’s not been the same since and I do miss the main jobs I had, especially sending people to big festivals and hearing their excitement when awarding them. The festival played live yesterday on broadcast television.
Day 7 – 27 Bands and Artists on our upcoming film debut Obliquity: Imagery of the Unknown
You may not be able to see all 27 bands and artists in this collage, but when we started our feature film debut, we never imagined networking with over 100 bands and artists talking submission, free posters that we’d provide to promote, and even some of the leading acts making a cameo appearance in the film. We ended up collaborating with over 150 people nationwide. Obliquity is a film that drew people in for having a positive outreach, wanting to unite several talents with the idea of us all promoting each other. A true collaboration – especially on the indie front.
When I was 21, I began another attempt at making a feature (my first was when I was 16 for an outrageous parody film The Dumbest Horror Flick Ever) after COEXIST had taken an audience award voted on by college students: the upcoming generation. I created a film that I wanted to resonate with people that went beyond some of the garbage that Hollywood was putting out by making a movie that spoke to the human soul with ideals to open people’s minds and showcase undiscovered talent (some that were well on their way) by bringing forth a colorful connection.
You can check out a list of bands and artists here and on IMDB for a full list of songs and names. The movie track “Obliquity” by ALTERED premiered on WEBN 102.7FM Greater Cincinnati local radio. Two music videos have been made so far for our upcoming psychological thriller including “Empty Minds” by punk rock band Killer Looks and Noise. Check out the work from affiliated bands & artists on our soundtrack and let us know your favorite tracks in the comments section.
Day 8 – Official Videographer/Editor – Project SpARCH (STEM) Fundraiser
SpARCHing a new change in our community and across the nation.
Continuing the journey in Ohio back in 2012, I was asked to help bridge the connection between the University of Cincinnati and Hughes High School by filming a crowd-funding video that would kick off the STEM program where college students mentored high school students for their next stages in life in their field by creating an academic bridge. Advocate David Mierke approached me about collaborating, and after a successful meeting, I asked Josh Luckett of EZ World Entertainment to assist me on the production that would soon start a positive spark in education.
The two of us worked with Dave and Jenna as well as the principal of Hughes High and the director of SAID/DAAP teachers. We recorded a variety of students showcasing their skills regarding architecture and design, math and science as well as their excitement for the program. After the video was featured on indiegogo and facebook, STEM ended up coming to fruition by gaining national attention from Washington D.C. and broadcasts on network news.
