Trippy Tran Films strives to create inspirational, moving and original content. So where has the owner Anthony “Rory” Tran been this last year?
New song “Ghost” from upcoming sophomore album. (Listen below!)
Watch the new lyric video to “GHOST”.
At the beginning of 2022, Tran continued doing Office PA work and ended up help prep and wrap the Squarespace Super Bowl commercial starring Zendaya (HBO’s “Euphoria) and André 3000 from Outkast, directed by Edgar Wright (Baby Driver, Scott Pilgrim vs. The World). Funny enough, the teams who went to Super Bowl LVI (56) were the Cincinnati Bengals and the Los Angeles Rams – so his hometown (Cincy) battled it out with where he’s resided for the last 8 1/2 years (L.A.)
At 21 million views, one of Tran’s biggest accomplishments so far.
Since handing Edgar Wright his storyboards and coffee that day, he had been non-stop working in the commercial world up until his trip back to Ohio where the teams he worked for were working more remote, though, once you’re working commercials, it’s hard to get to the film and TV side.
Just recently, ATran has been working as a PA on a TV show for EarthxTV that resumes filming mid-November, though all these jobs haven’t stopped him from creating. In sound design is the much-anticipated full-length Trippy Tran Films movie Obliquity: Imagery of the Unknown and is looking to hopefully enter film festivals fall 2023. ART A Reasonable Truth’s sophomore album is being worked on and the first single just released yesterday on Halloween in time for spooky season called “Ghost” with a music video to arrive sometime this month.
New single “Ghost” with visualizer.
You can download “Ghost” at http://areasonabletruth.bandcamp.com which includes also the instrumental and a capella as it gets ready to hit all major streaming platforms sometime this week.
Some reviews from listeners of “Ghost”.
The IDGA$ Talk Show, sketch comedies, final episode of Choices: An Interactive Story “Twisted Fates” are all still looking to also come out early 2023. There’s also plans for our 10th short film, a slasher along the lines of Scream but with an original spin, the InPersonNation sequel, and new music videos are in pre-production.
Shout out to Zackary Arthur who stars in Chucky alongside Devon Sawa. Anthony Rory Tran was a camera operator and worked with Zackary Arthur on “PALS” in 2016.
The Tran Man is also on a new podcast The Business Revolution to come out soon and is working to expand Trippy Tran Films, LLC so in 5 years or less, the goal is for him to be directing big budget Hollywood movies also.
Our services include weddings, commercials, photography and film making, recording sessions, voice over work, video editing and in partner with Lexico Fashion, wardrobe.

The hip-hop contemporary rap jam #notawrapper was created in 2020 before the global pandemic and has been called Trippy T aka ART A Reasonable Truth’s best song yet as it includes heavy bass, a catchy chorus and a play on words with lyrics about being both a rapper and a wrapper.
The music video just dropped today, which features over 60 people showing some of their own talents from breakdancing, stripping, spinning fire, plus a lot more fun surprises. Just make sure to blast the bass while listening.
The music video, takes it to a whole new level, featuring talents from Los Angeles to Cincinnati, OH and beyond and it actually features some talented rappers like Kevy G, Adam Glevicky and Anthony Catanzarite who show their support for Anthony “Rory” Tran’s latest single. A sexy maid, a dojo stick spinner, poi spinning, goths, grandma, a gift for yo mama and more are all included in this colorful compilation as Truth’s style is shown with a hot red Honda R-Type car.

Some stills from the (W)Rapper music video by ART A Reasonable Truth
Anthony T. Tran has been working in Hollywood a lot more this year which included projects to help with Willow, Dua Lipa, Christopher Mintz-Plasse from Superbad, and many more talents and commercial work.
With the surge of Covid-19 and the new Delta Variant virus, it has been hard to want to update or showcase all the hard work that’s been happening behind the scenes. Trippy Tran Films has a lot more projects coming up and hope that we will be able to share them sooner than later. Keep it locked in with all of our projects at the links below.
(2021) A Trippy Tran Films Production ART A Reasonable Truth — “(W)Rapper” (Official Music Video)
It was winter 2012 in Cincinnati, Ohio the days that dynamic duo on several music tracks SonanzeandART A Reasonable Truth (originally Trippy T) would get together and record music in a basement with instrumentals that Ukrainian talent Mikhail Sinenko would make with Anthony “Rory” Tran, including score music for Tran’s debut full-length film Obliquity: Imagery of the Unknown. With a Europop-type vibe on most tracks as well as orchestral sounding tunes, the two finally got together to collaborate on a song.
Sonanze (Sinenko) would make the sounds and even wrote verses lyrically to the previously unreleased demo “I’ll Risk It All” while ART (Tran) wrote the chorus and performed some of the raps already written for him. Together, they created the song that fits even moreso into today’s world while many people are in isolation, unable to do normal every day things due to the worldwide coronavirus pandemic we are dealing with: COVID-19 and how it feels to want that human connection of a love that’s waiting for us to find.

Being in quarantine makes us long for more of a human connection and even though many of us cannot create with a team like we used to, we all hope to build greater connections when free of this situation.
You can hear more of Sonanze on soundcloud as well as ART A Reasonable Truth on most major music platforms with his debut album Centerpiece, where Sonanze also created the instrumentals for the tracks “Get Down With It!”, “IDGA$” and “Jubilant Soul”. ART hopes to finish his original first album with 21 tracks almost all conceptualized that Sonanze created the music for entirely himself. They were in their early 20’s when this project began.
Music can be hit or miss nowadays, especially in mainstream media, but there is a lot going on in the underground side that most people wouldn’t even know where to look to find hidden gems and hits.
Well look no further, Centerpiece artist ART A Reasonable Truth has teamed up with 7Fifty7 and Ravyyyy (as well as the Rory Man’s other artist name: Trippy T aka Tripp T) to make a bass banging catchy, yet fun – and funny at times – banger called “(W)Rapper”.
The last studio session to wrap the “(W)Rapper” song.Tony Soto designing the widescreen YouTube song image art. Courtesy of Hamlet for the Homeless.
The track started after ART (Anthony “Rory” Tran) helped Frankie Mir and 7Fifty7 on the music video “Highway75” as part cinematographer and co-producer on an all night shoot. See that video below.
So whether you’re not a rapper or a “wrapper” wrapping gifts to yo mama – turn up the bass, get ready to start rapping and singing along as the new single from The Recipe artist celebrates his 32nd Birthday on the red carpet.
Tran will be media for the Gala event at Universal Studios for the Academy Awards event today. Tickets are now $1,000 to attend. He will be taking photos and videos with several others and will be submitting over 200 photos for the Hollywood stars event.
What do you think of the new song? Comment below and also, make sure to check out his debut album on all major music platforms at Artmusic.fanlink.to/Truth and areasonabletruth.bandcamp.com
Lyrics: What we gonna do – the original way? Why we getting country in this bitch?
Y’all gloating about what you can do alright Need to humble yourself and tell the truth alright Tell me what you can but what you can’t do What are you not gonna do? I’m ready!
Hook:
I’m not a rapper / Not a wrap, not a rap, not a wrapper
The only thing I’ve wrapped was a Christmas present The only thing I wrapped was a condom The only thing I wrapped was my friend’s Honda The only thing I wrapped was a gift for yo mama I go Amber Rose got no top in the summer Stuck in L.A. traffic but my life is not a bummer I’ve been getting smarter but my watch is getting dumber But my watch is getting dumber Nanananana Yeayeayeayeayea!
Where will I go All stops on these hoes Making them blow Because I’m So official Watching them bow No stopping us now Wearing the crown While Dancing on clouds
Rocking every day like my name is Superbass Making my own rules every time I get up in the place In search of morality It’s a formality Staying true and free That’s why they come for me Your disability I cross the Seven seas Keep on sharing the peace That’s the way I wanna be
The only thing I’ve wrapped was principle photography The only thing I’ve wrapped was a – bar on this bitch.. Get it because yea.. I’m a rapper!

The imaginative indie film company Trippy Tran Films is planning several new shorts, skits, a talk show and music videos for ART A Reasonable Truth. Most of the hard work is slated for a 2020 release and is further opening its doors to expand collaboration and artist promotion.
Hosting weekly meetings in Los Angeles, the team has expanded and reached out to several working people in the industry. Director, producer and content creator Anthony T. Tran (aka Anthony Rory Tran) has been working in Hollywood as a background actor and production assistant which has opened new doors for future collaborations.
With the recent re-release of the trippy government thriller, QK-Hilltop – which is based on real experiments in the 1950’s following MK-Ultra – the movie now has an official poster and you can watch it until the end of the year for free here.
Mind control experiments in the 1950’s could still be active today. Make your own conclusion after watching Trippy Tran Films’ latest QK-HILLTOP. For the spooky season, watch for a limited time.

So what about this talk show? Real news has fallen into propaganda and reality-style television and it seems nobody wants to talk real truth in the media. The IDGA$ Talk Show @idgas_talk_show is on TikTok and Instagram as of now promoting old skits and new including PocaHeyHey, contest entries that are funny and original, Titney Spears and more.
The first 3 episodes were taped last weekend in Burbank with more planning every weekend so that the first season can release every week also.
Short films in the works include the stand-alone impersonator sequel to InPersonNation as well as new horror and rom-com our sources reveal.
And of course, ART A Reasonable Truth is Anthony Rory Tran’s artist name who has been planning at least 2 more music videos including the theme to the talk show IDGA$ and the club banger Get Down With It! – as part of his concept album Centerpiece.
Also, episode 2 of Twisted Fates from Choices – An Interactive Story #ChoicesTF is being edited and looking to release by end of November.
Updates may have been lacking, but we assure you a lot of great things are in motion and a lot of new faces are going to be involved in upcoming projects. Be sure to subscribe to all the YouTube channels also on IG and facebook:
We are still looking to complete sound design on our debut feature Obliquity: Imagery of the Unknown. Email TrippyTranFilms@gmail.com with reel and rate. Movie is 1hr 50min run time.
Happy New Year’s Eve everyone! The new club banger by ART is sure to make lovers of dance music go wild as we bring in 2K18 with “Get Down With It!” Put on your dancing shoes and get ready to get down with it!
The instrumental beat is produced by Sonanze and has “Centerpiece” singer ART on the track laying some dirty vocals chanting:
“Get down with an altered feeling/It comes and goes on/Get down with a “won’t-stop” feeling/I know I can lose control/Get down with a monster feeling/Get down and let it go/When we begin the chain/You gotta get down on the dance floor!”
“Get Down With It!” is a party anthem for those who like high energy dance tracks with smooth breakdowns and wild sounds that you can’t help but jump up and down to. I mean, at least my friends and I can’t stop listening. And we like “Centerpiece” but damn – this may be even better. It’s that good.
A Reasonable Truth AKA Anthony “Rory” Tran has worked with (and plans on working with more on the an already planned second album) musician Sonanze AKA Mikhail Sinenko on this EDM anthem who also created the music tracks to “Unfreeze (2012)” and “Shimmer Of Longing” amongst many others – unlike the recent release of “Centerpiece” who was made by beatmaker A-Rhyme also known as Aaron Byrd.
The new single just dropped – and it went right down your chimney. Happy holidays! With the current state of pop music, just like the film industry, there’s been a lot of hit and misses with overplayed reboots and lackluster content (and lyrics) that seems to cater to the American dollar rather than the beauty and craft of art with the real gems lying in the underground. A new surprise has arrived: introducing ART.

Here at Trippy Tran Films, we believe in inspiring, motivating and making positive moves in mainstream media. We are pleased to present the new single from singer, rapper, lyricist, multi-genre artist Anthony Rory Tran who goes by the name of ART – which also stands for A Reasonable Truth, and has originally released music under the pseudonym Trippy T.
Fans of pop, hip-hop, cruising-style, electronic infused music will be pleased to know a song called “Centerpiece” is a life-jam calling everyone a centerpiece with lyrics: “Look now you’re the centerpiece/Saying everybody get like me”.
ART’s debut album CENTERPIECE is set for an early 2018 release and will have 11 original songs.
The music industry is mentioned in verse 2: “Octacables wrapped around me like a label/When it takes hold own the heart and let go” stating that octopus tentacles acting as cables can hold the ‘centerpiece’ tight and you may even go to the degree of interpreting those lyrics as people being constricted by the idea of money rather than the craft.
ART’s debut album of the same name is set to drop early 2018 with more singles to be released. What are your thoughts on “Centerpiece” as a new hit song? ART will also be featured on the new Master T.C. and the Visitors “Gotta Be Free” video set to drop in January.Hear that song here.

Dreamers follow an unwritten journey leading them up different winding paths, opportunities and experiences as each passing day comes to light. Though, some believe everything is destined to happen, we continue to strive for collaboration, endurance, confidence and achievement to reach and make these goals. Sharing this unique experience we call life can be rewarding and even disappointing at times, but as we hold onto our inspiration and faith, we find that anything is possible.
As owner, director, producer and writer amongst many other roles (cinematographer, singer/rapper, editor, production assistant, etc.) for Trippy Tran Films and other production companies, I have been continuing the dream and doing my best to complete some of our projects in the balance. Our goal still includes releasing our feature film debut Obliquity: Imagery of the Unknownto festivals and audiences worldwide.
I’ve always been open to joining forces with other people in the entertainment industry and our love for creating and connecting will only continue to expand. (We encourage everyone to never lose sight of what they want in life!) Here are some of my own biggest feats, a new entry showcasing 40 Days of Success and determination up to this point in my life. Check back for new entries starting March 1, 2017. Believe in yourself. Believe in others.

Day 1 – New Music from Trippy T
True artists are always making music whether it’s publicly released, finalized or not. This image is taken from the photo shoot on location of my new music video TBA (shhh! – details yet to be revealed!) There are a lot of surprises with the new songs and the upcoming Centerpiece EP. Working with celebrity model photographer Chris Anthony of CXL Photography fall 2016 was refreshing. I felt as I could really be myself in this video, now having lived in Los Angeles for almost 3 years and loving the SoCal atmosphere.
Day 2 – Co-Producer and Cameo Role in Sovereign Entertainment’s Devil’s Point
Throwback to the club scene in the new movie Devil’s Point that I co-produced and made a cameo in with these lovely stars of the film (Alexander Sedlak and Kait Stay). It’s been since 2011, but great things take time. We hope you can’t wait to see this supernatural horror from Sovereign Entertainment and Trippy Tran Films!
Day 3 – Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Sports Awards Post Party Staff (2015-?)
Working Nickelodeon’s Kids’ Choice Sports Awards Post Party Event 2015 & 2016.
Growing up watching Nickelodeon myself, it brought me joy to pump up the youth for their photo op and was in overall exciting to be part of such an exclusive event for a second year in a row.
In 2016, I was teamed up with the basketball photo booth guys and helped kids and families get their star photo moment with their print used as the backboard for a mini-bball hoop and was also given my own hoop.
In 1 week, the Kids’ Choice Awards will be hosted and airing March 10, 2017 on Nickelodeon.
Day 4 – Director of Photography on Long Beach, CA web series MÆRY QUEENS
Maery Queens – Long Beach with Anthony T. Tran as director of photography.
Working with the cast of Mæry Queens as official Director of Photography on season 1 (available to watch for free) where I worked with MTV Brasil actor Anthony Moore (Malady,Into the Shadows), Kyle Mosonyi (“Gone” Music Video) and Ashley Hernandez (My Vacation In L.A. – Top 10 Countdown) and of course the rest of the stellar cast involved.
Production took place throughout the month of August 2015 and the first 4 webisodes premiered in April 2016 with a red carpet premier at one of the filming locations: The Silver Fox. I used facebook Live during the event highlighting some of the star moments, interviews with most of the cast and even spoke on stage in front of the audience.
I became so passionate about this project that I ended up writing additional segments to the show with solo confessionals with each character in between episodes that started after episode 4. It also marked my first major role debut in Long Beach and first cinematography role in Los Angeles County.
Day 5 – COEXIST wins Audience Choice award for CMF 2009 in Greater Cincinnati
Winning our first movie award in the city for our horror short COEXIST and pictured with legendary synth-funk group Midnight Star’s Bill Simmons who was also one of my instructors.
In my final project in college at Brown Mackie Cincinnati, I had already directed 3 original shorts and several other music video projects, etc. Before #ObliquityMovie was started, this was the film that encouraged me to continue following my passion as we won an Audience Choice Award for a horror film in 2009! If anyone remembers that Era, horror films were coming out left and right and it was hard to find anything original. To this day COEXIST by @trippytranfilms remains bold, thought-provoking and unique.

Day 6 – Assistant National Contest Admin for iHeartRadio contests & Clear Channel Media + Entertainment (2011-2014)
Hired at Clear Channel Media & Entertainment AKA #iHeartRadio for 3 years with 3 different job titles for radio nation.
In the birthplace of radio, Cincinnati, OH I had a good friend who saw my passion and ambition for working in entertainment. In 2011, I was hired to run national contests including giving away $1000 more than 5 times a day as well as trips to the iHeartRadio Music Festival in #LasVegas, plus, exclusively with my boss ran the private show #contest for the Justin Timberlake 20/20 Experience debut and Miami and L.A. shows and pool parties with America’s top artists.
I then was hired for commercial dubbing then music in production tech. I trained and worked with original members of Blessid Union of Souls I left the job to pursue my film endeavors in #California. Here I’m pictured with KISS 107 FM host Jare E. J and WEBN legend Shroom. Also pictured is the UK’s Morning Parade and Brian Aubert of Silversun Pickups in the Coke Lounge. Both great guys to be studio neighbors with. For fun, you can hear my radio voice in our short film #MyVacationInCincinnati
It’s not been the same since and I do miss the main jobs I had, especially sending people to big festivals and hearing their excitement when awarding them. The festival played live yesterday on broadcast television.
Day 7 – 27 Bands and Artists on our upcoming film debut Obliquity: Imagery of the Unknown
You may not be able to see all 27 bands and artists in this collage, but when we started our feature film debut, we never imagined networking with over 100 bands and artists talking submission, free posters that we’d provide to promote, and even some of the leading acts making a cameo appearance in the film. We ended up collaborating with over 150 people nationwide. Obliquity is a film that drew people in for having a positive outreach, wanting to unite several talents with the idea of us all promoting each other. A true collaboration – especially on the indie front.
When I was 21, I began another attempt at making a feature (my first was when I was 16 for an outrageous parody film The Dumbest Horror Flick Ever) after COEXIST had taken an audience award voted on by college students: the upcoming generation. I created a film that I wanted to resonate with people that went beyond some of the garbage that Hollywood was putting out by making a movie that spoke to the human soul with ideals to open people’s minds and showcase undiscovered talent (some that were well on their way) by bringing forth a colorful connection.
You can check out a list of bands and artists here and on IMDB for a full list of songs and names. The movie track “Obliquity” by ALTERED premiered on WEBN 102.7FM Greater Cincinnati local radio. Two music videos have been made so far for our upcoming psychological thriller including “Empty Minds” by punk rock band Killer Looks and Noise. Check out the work from affiliated bands & artists on our soundtrack and let us know your favorite tracks in the comments section.
Day 8 – Official Videographer/Editor – Project SpARCH (STEM) Fundraiser
SpARCHing a new change in our community and across the nation.
Continuing the journey in Ohio back in 2012, I was asked to help bridge the connection between the University of Cincinnati and Hughes High School by filming a crowd-funding video that would kick off the STEM program where college students mentored high school students for their next stages in life in their field by creating an academic bridge. Advocate David Mierke approached me about collaborating, and after a successful meeting, I asked Josh Luckett of EZ World Entertainment to assist me on the production that would soon start a positive spark in education.
The two of us worked with Dave and Jenna as well as the principal of Hughes High and the director of SAID/DAAP teachers. We recorded a variety of students showcasing their skills regarding architecture and design, math and science as well as their excitement for the program. After the video was featured on indiegogo and facebook, STEM ended up coming to fruition by gaining national attention from Washington D.C. and broadcasts on network news.
Tonight on Cincinnati’s rock station 102.7 WEBN on Native Noise at 11pm ET – a radio rock show dedicated to bringing local rock artists on the air, Shroom and Nudge will be playing the self-titled movie track ‘Obliquity’ by hard rockers Altered. The song was written for our debut feature film of the same name.
After working 3 years in radio at Clear Channel aka iHeartRadio, director/writer Anthony Tran moved to southern California to pursue film and finalize the theatrical cut of Obliquity: Imagery of the Unknown and the Trippy Tran Films Shorts Collection. When the movie was being made, we knew we had to have a killer soundtrack.
Hard rock band ALTERED was excited about the project and began writing and recording the soundtrack-themed title hit ‘Obliquity’ (available on iTunes). The result became an obscure, bellowing, cry through the chaos where both Meyers Cage and Brandon Rubenoff roar “I scream out loud: Obliquity!”
MÆRY QUEENS
New Long Beach Gay Web Series
Coming Spring 2016
A set of diverse gay friendships are put to the test when a threat to kill the host’s cat surfaces at an otherwise fun birthday party. Get ready for the new dramedy mystery MÆRY Queens.
Chance happens only so many wonderful times in our lives and for an uprising career path in a cut throat industry, it can be a difficult endeavor for a newcomer to Los Angeles. There’s Hollywood, Studio City, Burbank, dozens of beaches, atmosphere, celebrities that breathe the air (and the money) with no surprise running into someone famous in the Greater L.A. Area.
In June 2015, Anthony Rory Tran and Keithopher Webb went to Long Beach pride and it wasn’t until the next morning that Keithopher handed him a card he received at the festival. Being an aspiring actor and film maker, A. Tran decided to email them, mentioning his work under singer/songwriter/rapper name Trippy T and mentioned his connects with other talent that could be interested in submitting and collaborating to the series.
Soon after, Anthony received an email and was asked to audition for the roles of Ian and Dustin. He met with the director Henry Corzo and shared with him his ties on making a national community film project back in Cincinnati, OH. Henry then called him back a week later to help film an audition with Kyle Mosonyi and Alex Correa in Long Beach, CA.
It was a couple weeks later when Tran saw his name highlighted and thought that he had also been cast. Sharing videos before auditions, at the end of the day Corzo asked him to become the Director of Photography of this project. Jobs for a DP include running camera, directing the overall quality and uniqueness to the look of the film (Mæry Queens), choosing depth, frame rates, lighting, rigs and more. Humbly honored, Tran took the position.

There is a lot in store for the filming of the project and like any film set, anything can happen.
Daniel Donnie Flores plays Ian in MÆRY Queens and gives us a little sneak peek.
Anthony Tran assures us he has been working really hard on MÆRY Queens and can’t wait to show you what’s in store!
Now as the Director of Photography also abbreviated as DP or DoP (that’s dope without the ‘e’ that’s how dope the DoP role is), we anticipate the October release and wish Corzo, Tran and team with the project.
MÆRY Queens wraps production today, 8/30/2015.
CALLING ALL MUSICIANS:
Music is being prepared for the series. We are looking for fun pop, dance, electro, rap, hiphop, alternative, ambient and more to fit with these characters and this series.
Interested musicians, bands, artists, composers, etc. can submit by emailing TrippyTranFilms@gmail.com
For more dope content, check out Tran’s “Leatherware” radio spot he made in college for audio class. Tran wrote, mixed and even did voice over announcer work with the help of 3 friends; they gave testimonials for this fun made-up radio commercial exclusively here! Leatherware! Where it’s at!
Maery Queens has now been postponed for a Spring 2016 release. Follow the page on facebook for more info.
