What if you could change how each character interacted with each other right in front of your eyes? What if the outcome was somehow altered and perspective was at the mercy of your fingertips?
There have been several attempts at creating an interactive film story on YouTube, but |Choices| An Interactive Story goes beyond just a game over per wrong choice. Viewers will be altering the whole story as the movie progresses in this new series from Escape West Films and Trippy Tran Films – and the actions are sure to trip you out. The interactive experience puts you, the audience, right in the director’s chair as decisions on where the film goes are in your hands. Strap in, it’s going to be a bumpy ride.
Is anyone else getting Wreckfest vibes with the above image released for the show? (The driving of two guys rather than two gals this time?!) Though, not having any relation to the multi-genre short film, there is a mobile story game that anyone can play on their mobile devices with Wreckfest – An Interactive Storythat’s based on the TTF movie, however, the game itself is a mobile exclusive.
With |Choices| An Interactive Story planned for DVD and YouTube release, progression and changing the elements are easier for computer users and DVD/Blu-ray users to interact with wherever you are, but on the latter, this experience will not be currently available for mobile devices just yet. The new show is directed by Anthony T. Tran so either way you know that it’s going to be a unique and fun-filled journey.
Now that the season 2 intro is out, it’s time for the tripsters to take an adventure on Ocean Blvd with a psychedelic journey taking us to colorful downtown Long Beach, California – where Tran currently lives – making episode 2 titled “DTLB” an unforgettable experience.
In season 1, our visit to Long Beach included the Aquarium of the Pacific, the Rainbow Harbor tour, and a look at the Queen Mary. This time, it’s nightlife in LB with a visit to The Federal Bar, Rock Bottom Brewery, the Grand Prix fiber optic landmark The Loop and more as Erin enjoys her 4/20 evening in LA County while having a blazin’ good time!
Viewers get to see the Obliquity actress get a little tipsy, similarly to what we saw in season 1 when Alicia, Trippy T and Legend go to Venice Beach. The “liquid courage” takes her and Randy around the beautiful rainbow city, sharing moments that remind us of the original My Vacation In Cincinnati – the short film about a couple who wins tickets to Cincinnati, Ohio – as Erin points out all the unique scenery and even asks to be put on top of The Loop. Daring!
Ashley Hernandez (AKA Ash Nicole) from the My Vacation In LA – Top 10 Countdown season 1 video makes a dashing return for season 2 in this episode and is joined by videographer Anthony “Rory” Tran (AKA Trippy T) as he hosts and records the show again. Be sure to check out Ashley Hernandez in the web series Mæry Queens.
Ashley Hernandez, Erin Wilkin and Randy Roy in My Vacation In LA season 2.
Episode 3 is set to release on the first day of summer, June 20, 2017.

Screamson 2 is about to end, but you still have time to watch all 11 episodes leading to the season 2 finale of this dark teen slasher drama mystery that is Scream, or as many refer to it as MTV SCREAM or more officially Scream: The TV Series. The conclusion to this wickedly eerie chapter airs this Tuesday, August 16 at 10PM. So many questions are becoming answered, but we’re also left with so many still wide open. Like last year in our MTV’s Scream – Season 1 Finale (Screamson 1), we’re going to talk about our thoughts on the new and current story, characters and the potential killer(s)/accomplice(s).
Contains Spoilers:
Last year, we wrote out all our perspectives of the characters the show had given us right before the finale. This time, the story has gotten deeper with certain situations as well as introducing many new ones. What’s Eli and Aunt Tina hiding? Who burnt the house down that Emma was in with Eli? Why are Audrey’s letters in Kieran’s house? Why did Zoe have to die after Noah was stalked for the first time? Is Gustavo making the deaths in his comic book or is he really just a twisted artist from living with a Sheriff as a father?
In August 2015, the new web series Mæry Queenswas filmed and now, not even a year later, we have the first trailer. Whether you want to spell or call it Mary Queens, Maery Queens or connect that “A” and “E” together for the Columbian spelling of the series created by Corzo Productions, you can find the debut of this inventive new show on April 30th of this year. Watch the trailer below.
So where and when did it premier? Last night, Eddie Jelinet had an artist event premiering his latest music video release “Caged Animals” and had an an amazing turnout with special guests including his iconic “red rose man” (does he have a name or is he a representation of everyone?) as he played violin that transitioned with a “caged animal” spirit and even had a true full-blooded Native American on the stage. It was a world of color and heart that only the people in that room got to experience at Sevilla Nightclub in Long Beach, California.
See Eddie Jelinet’s music video trailer and art video below.
Afterwards, the cast and crew of Maery Queens went on stage and the trailer debuted. Actors that made an appearance at the event include the fabulous Ash Nicole (who is featured in the “My Vacation In LA” Long Beach promo and plays Rachel in MQ), Anthony Moore from MTV Brazil (who plays the best friend Andrew), Felix Aispuro (who plays the Columbian hearthrob Mario) and Alex Correa (who plays the quirky and hot-tempered LB native Jośe).
Watch the 2-part season finale Monday, February 29th here at Trippy Tran Films.

Check back often and enjoy these episodes of My Vacation In LA (Series)
February is here with a new mini-series from TTF. From one hot spot to the next, take an adventurous trip with Alicia, Legend and Trippy T as they travel the west coast seeking beaches and fun as they bring a whole lot of Midwest and Cincinnati-tude to beautiful Los Angeles, California.
Alicia has never been to California, let alone southern California (hello, the spot to be!) When her friend Rory (Trippy T, Anthony Rory Tran AKA the Trippy Tran Man, founder of Trippy Tran Films LLC) moves to pursue his film and acting career in Hollywood, she knew she had to see him again and spend time with him and his bud Legend on the SoCal coast.
Rory, Alicia and Legend planned a full week of adventure including visting various beaches like the Santa Monica Pier, Venice Beach, Long Beach boat rides and the aquarium, plus, WeHo, Knott’s Berry Farm, Hollywood Star Tours, wax museums, a taping of Comedy Central’s @Midnight, In N’ Out and more. See what fun they all get into as they explore Greater Los Angeles when it premiers here at TrippyTranFilms.com on Friday, February 5, 2016.
The mini-series is a spin-off to Trippy Tran Films’ 2012 short My Vacation In Cincinnati which stars the late Chris Corman (who passed in 2015) and ex-army Seattle-lite Amanda Eichelberger.
There are references and more to MVIC but MVILA is not a movie per se. It is more of a documented adventure with interviews, sights, travel, fun facts (like did you know The Pacific Wheel is the only solar powered Ferris wheel in the world!?) Plus, there are even important topics discussed amongst the vacationers like salt water resources – all sprinkled throughout this unique adventure.
SoCal just got sunnier!
This documentary-style mini-series will be split into 7 segments for each day of the adventure. The 2-part finale will release on February 29th.
Tonight on Cincinnati’s rock station 102.7 WEBN on Native Noise at 11pm ET – a radio rock show dedicated to bringing local rock artists on the air, Shroom and Nudge will be playing the self-titled movie track ‘Obliquity’ by hard rockers Altered. The song was written for our debut feature film of the same name.
After working 3 years in radio at Clear Channel aka iHeartRadio, director/writer Anthony Tran moved to southern California to pursue film and finalize the theatrical cut of Obliquity: Imagery of the Unknown and the Trippy Tran Films Shorts Collection. When the movie was being made, we knew we had to have a killer soundtrack.
Hard rock band ALTERED was excited about the project and began writing and recording the soundtrack-themed title hit ‘Obliquity’ (available on iTunes). The result became an obscure, bellowing, cry through the chaos where both Meyers Cage and Brandon Rubenoff roar “I scream out loud: Obliquity!”
Last week, we listed 10 skits that have tummy tickling moments and we even listed all related videos including the future soon-to-be PocaHeyHey official, the reincarnate of Pocahontas in today’s society, plus character parodies like Titney Spears, Selena Stop!mez, Marie AntoiNOT!, the MSI “Prom” music video, the hilarious radio spot “Leatherware” and more. Well, you didn’t think it would stop there, did you!? Trippy Tran and Trippy Tran Films have been making professional videos and zany comedy skits since 2007 (and owner/operator Anthony Rory Tran has been writing since he was an itty bitty wittle kid.) Here’s 10 more skits! And look! You don’t have to worry about annoying ads all over the page (besides a select few of our own which we implore you to check up on it.) Also, you don’t have to click a Next page button constantly just to finish the article! It’s all listed below!
#1 Do The Apple Turnover! (Churry Churry)
In 2011, Arby’s was having a Cast Calling contest and Anthony “Rory” Tran aka artist Trippy T was on it. In less than a week, he called his local Arby’s (one with the original cowboy hat – those come few, far and between nowadays!) a flash mob of diverse folks, a killer food rap, a hot beat from Greg Durham aka Godtchie (who collaborated with Tran on the song “Mind ArC” for the COEXIST movie soundtrack – see our movies), the mixing style of Michail Sinenko aka Sonanze and the writing collaboration with Hapless aka J.B. Luckett of Eazy World Entertainment (see his debut music video) who also stars in the video as Tran’s hype man.
The video has gained the most fans and views for on a video for the Trippy Tran Films channel up until recently, now being the 2nd highest video with over 4 thousand views on the Trippy Tran Films channel with the highest count of views being our #2 video… (see below)

#2 SIPPY BEARS Juice Bar, Smoothies & Wheat Grass Lemonade
Chef Dan immediately called Anthony Tran about filming commercials for his new business Panda Chefs. He hired Tran to film and edit his commercials from Sushi Bears to Bolly Bears (Indian Cuisine) to the Panda Chefs Shark Tank audition tape sent to ABC as he was being considered, Classy Beading (jewelry making) to Sippy Bears at Findlay Market in downtown Cincinnati, OH. Together, they made promos and tutorial videos to all the delicious exotic ethnic options including the emerging hype of wheatgrass being a new health trend. For some odd reason (that our market research hasn’t full grasped) the Sippy Bears is the most viewed promo and is officially now the most viewed video on the Trippy Tran Films channel at over 6 thousand views! Why do you think that is? Comment and see all the promos below!
Panda Chefs – ABC’s Shark Tank Audition (Cooking Kits Promo) (coming soon)
Basil Bears (Thai Food)- (Coming soon!)
Tran also shot Chef Dan’s sister’s wedding and made a music video to Journey’s “Don’t Stop Believin'” for her wedding video out of the footage and choreography they performed at that wedding. Click the link and keep following your dreams people!
Music by Sonanze.
Video and edits by Anthony Tran, Trippy Tran Films.
Chef Dan with The Hunger Games star Josh Huctherson!
#3 CONAN! Please Blow Up My Car
In 2010, Conan O’Brien had a contest for everyone in the US to submit their crappiest vehicle video and submit it to NBC for the Conan O’Brien Show. The winner was in the same town the studio was in, Los Angeles, CA where Tran now resides. Too bad his car wasn’t in LA so they could blow it up on site. We might have won!
The selection description on their site mentions:
Working in conjunction with the writers of “The Tonight Show with Conan O’brien” we created this fun promo for the launch of the Lexus HS. From over 3,000 video submissions, Conan picked a winner of the worst car in America who would win the Lexus HS in exchange for his car being blown to bits.
Actor Bobby Long approached Tran about doing a Dorito’s contest entry for the Super Bowl. Always game to collaborate, Tran united a team of people to create a video, and the resources included MMA fighter Chad Hinton and his own daughter in the video! Dorito’s bags spinning around his head by graphic/VFX artist Dan Hollandsworth made this video extremely memorable and a tummy tickler for sure, even if it didn’t win the contest (like most our vids – sad face !) There’s competition out there for sure, but isn’t it really about creating and collaborating to make unique and original videos? MMA fighter Chad Hinton thinks so!
See director/writer Anthony Tran’s “COEXIST” starring Bobby Long – http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N8PqUbrTaCw coming soon to The Official Trippy Tran Films Shorts Collection 2008-2015. Read about the epic DVD release here. Future articles about the double-disc set coming soon.
Bobby Long also hired Tran for a Russian wedding for the Abduganiev’s. Promo video coming soon!
(Here’s hoping everyone’s still married!)
#5 Ke$ha at LA Pride 2015
Well Ke$ha made a comeback that Saturday night at LA Pride this past year. Tran attended the aftermath and went to the parade; but when we stepped through the gates, there was a lot of trash. Needless to say, it made a funny Kesha’s “glitter trash” parody.
In 2007, Tran started at Brown Mackie College and graduated with an Associate’s of Applied Science degree in Audio/Video technology in 2009. The first storyboard project had to be done right, Tran said to himself – and even though the “Object of the Game” assignment was to film an angle, cut the camera and repeat to complete the project, Tran took it upon himself to do a small amount of editing so he could “disappear” from the pimp cups, which when premiered in front of his class, wowed the crowd.
See Tran’s “Drug Deal” featuring Izal Mane and Rel for a DP assignment he lead after he was recovering from being sick for the end of the month for a lighting class project – http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oB6gQ0zNpo8 and the next video features them as well!
#7 “Get Looney On ‘Em!”
Whilst Tran attended Brown Mackie, they helped film videos for a whole bunch of local Cincinnati artists including big time Showtime music vid (we shot the Goonies video which never was released) as well as Izal Mane and Rel’s old group Cincinnati’s Most Wanted. The students all got to help production, but each student was given the chance to do their own edit for a grade. Above is Tran’s edit. Honestly, Tran got a C+, but looking back at it now, if we had more time, we would perfect the video, but shoot, this is a Looney Tunes anthem for real! How hot is their take on being “looney”. Fresh. Dope. Real. Why are we so underground homies?! Ha.
Once again, another school project makes its way on our list. This hilarious video removed the original commercial’s audio for an assignment to redub the entire commercial. Thinking outside the box, Tran not only wanted to redo all the sound effects, music and voice overs, but instead, rematch it with a lip sync parody vid having Howie from Radio Shack say “can you transfer this cute white pussy to all my friends and family”. Yeah. We went there. See for yourself how well we matched lips and recreated the audio of a popular commercial. Featuring the voice announcer of Jeff Winkelman of Who Productions, Anthony’s main instructor at Brown Mackie College-Cincinnati.
On July 16, 2015, Tran worked did more for sports as a P.A. on Nickelodeon’s Kids’ Choice Sports awards post party event! Due to a knee injury from a serving job in SoCal, he wasn’t able to do as much as he wanted, but being at UCLA helping the team at the Lost Child Meet-Up Point and Lost and Found. With film makers Kimbra McCaul and Dustin Young.
#9 A Suphero Birthday Party!
Filming our debut feature Obliquity: Imagery of the Unknown came with connecting with our cast and crew, and in this case, actress Tia Casey and members of the rock band The Upset Victory. Together, we celebrated Tia’s birthday wearing superhero costumes made from table cloths and styrofoam masks.
Unfortunately, later in the evening, Tran was jumped by two guys near the band mates car. Tran said “what’s up” to them and the next thing you know, was beaten to the temple with pounding fists for over a minute until his friends left the bar and realized what was going on. It was like a black out. The attack occurred at Bellevue Vets in which there were security cameras and was by a main street off of the Newport exit, but the officer let the attacker go right in front of everyone and didn’t do anything for the ruthless attack. Luckily, only the good memories were captured above and one might call The Upset Victory including the guitarist’s heroic brother for being a superhero at the end of the night.
#10 ACTV Special featuring German Commercial parody, The Dumbest Horror Flick Ever Behind The Scenes, Music Videos and more!
Let’s time travel back to when Tran was a senior in high school and was still (and still is) very passionate about film work. He took 2 years of German and was finishing some scenes for The Dumbest Horror Flick Ever after making the MSI “Prom” cover video before and after his Junior Prom and was asked to submit to public broadcasting featuring his works. This special is about 25 minutes and includes a lot of Tran’s earlier work.
A few years later, ACTV in Anderson Township, banned Anthony Tran from airing videos on their public broadcasting saying our work was “too commercial”. When Tran released “COEXIST” after 10pm on public broadcasting, there were some concerns about the majority of elderly people residing and watching the program that the film was so horrific that it might give them a heart attack, said by the chairman. We don’t think our stuff is that explicit, but to each their own! Now Tran is in California and will be making a new special for Long Beach and LA residents to check out his work going along with The Official Trippy Tran Films Shorts Collection 2008-2015.

We are constantly coming up with ideas on top of our so far released 7 short films, our full-length feature films coming soon including our own Obliquity: Imagery of the Unknownand the film we co-produced Devil’s Point, the horror comedy parody that just released called The Dumbest Horror Flick Ever (#TDHFE), plus music under the current artist name of Trippy T and while our projects being released remain professional – we also like to have fun! #1 GENESIS OF THE HEY HEY
PocaHeyHey has been an idea of Tran’s since 2011 (so don’t even think about trying to steal it!) The complete minisode collection has been put together and Tran and fans alike would like more to come. The idea has spawned multiple side videos including SunnyGayGay and a list of ideas we hope to bring to our channel in the near future!
This hilarious commercial should be aired! Featuring 3 testimonials on why you should shop for leather all day every day including a hilarious flamboyant guy makes this radio spot oh-so priceless!
#4 Bread On My Nipples
Hear more random songs like parodies of Taylor Swift parody and Avril Lavigne by Rory Man like “Grindr”, “Hermaphrodites” and more plus original songs and covers at http://reverbnation.com/trippyt
Tran wrote a parody album called “Comedy Lunch” when he was 12 and hopes to record this and more parody songs in the future!
Short and sweet. The middle is a tummy tickler for sure!
#10 “Prom” Mindless Self Indulgence (Cover Video feat. A.Ro Tran)
After creating The Dumbest Horror Flick Ever, cast and crew members were featured for their Junior Prom video filmed right before their actual prom! This made one of the most entertaining and hilarious videos that Tran did in high school. The video was so explicit with drinking, masturbation references and cussing that it practically got banned from his school.
